Welcome

What's New

Welcome to our home page. Grace Communion Church is a fairly new church plant. We started on March 21, 2004. Our goal is to be a relevant family-oriented church.

Grace Communion Church is anything but static. We are now near you. Our original Inland Empire church plant may be moving back to Fontana soon. Stay tuned.

"We just don't let any grass grow under our feet," chuckles pastor Neil Earle, "Years ago I read in seminary that the churches need to recapture the dynamic, pilgrim status of the early church which met in houses or anywhere people can gather. Well, that's us. We fit the bill for offering all kinds of churches in all kinds of places for all kinds of people."

This activist group plans to run another Grape Harvest lit table in Rancho. With drugs and gangs making their presence felt in the Inland Empire the Cops and Clergy network needs to reach the public about how to respond. This may well be our community service theme this year.

Join us as we make our way through the 48-lesson Discovery Series study on Discipleship Training.

Where Was God?

The devastating earthquake in Haiti has seen a massive outpouring of support from many nations. It also leads many to ask, once again, where was God in all this? How could a loving God allow such suffering to fall on one of the poorest countries of earth?

Inevitably, Bible believing Christians seek to make some sense out of all this. Across the centuries three or four positions have evolved.

Cops, Kids and Felix Jones

“I have sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. I want them to be able to go to school, to the park or to the store without being threatened or abused or shot at or offered marijuana. That’s my passion for this ministry, getting into the community and doing what Christians do best. And it’s an uphill battle.”

Quiet, soft-spoken Felix Jones of the “Cops and Clergy Network” in the Inland Empire of Southern California east of Los Angeles leads a faith-based initiative that began in November 1998. It is an association between the various police and sheriffs departments, participating churches and community organizations.

Paul's Christmas Message?

Tucked away in quiet dignity near the heart of the majestic Book of Romans lies what I like to call Paul’s Christmas Message.

The Gospel writers Matthew and Luke have theirs – sometimes called the Birth or Infancy Narratives. The Queen Of England will have hers. No doubt the Prime Minister and the U.S. President will have theirs. So why shouldn’t Paul?

It is sometimes fun to play the “what if” game. For example, what might that contagious Gospel communicator, the apostle Paul, the best missionary the church has ever had, how might he approach the Christmas season if he were here today?
